FACULTY OF ENGINEERING UNIZIK SET FOR HER COREN ACCREDITATION

The Faculty of Engineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka is set to host it’s August visitors for the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) Accreditation exercise.

In a release and Internal Memorandum made available to the media with Reference No: NAU/FEG/006, dated January 20th 2022 and signed by the Dean of the Faculty, Engr. Prof. Joseph T. Nwabanne, the upcoming COREN accreditation is for seven Departments of the Faculty scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 1st to Saturday, 5th February 2022.

The seven Departments to be assessed by the COREN team are Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Polymer and Textile Engineering.

According to the Dean of the Faculty, all the members of staff are expected to play a crucial role towards the success of the accreditation exercise

Faculty of Engineering get new Head of Departments

The Vice Chancellor in an Internal memorandum dated 17th January, 2022 had appointed the following persons to be the new Head in the faculty of Engineering

Dept. of Chemical Engineering( Ag.)- Dr. Victor I. Ogonnabo
Dept. of Civil Engineering- Dr.Celestine Akaolisa Ezeagu
Dept. of Electrical Engineering- Dr. Oseloka A. Ezechukwu
Dept. of Electronics and Computer Engineering Dr. Kenneth A. Akpado
Dept. of Mechanical Engineering(Ag.)- Dr. Jeremiah Lekwuwa Chukwuneke
Dept. of Metallurgical& Materials Engineering- Dr. Nkem E. Nwankwo
Dept. of Industrial Production Engineering- Dr. Moses Nwosu
Dept. of Polymer and Textile Engineering( Ag.)- Dr. S.R Odera.A

Submission of Papers for the FEIC 2022

As the Faculty of Engineering International Conference which holds on 9th and 10th February, 2022 draws nearer, the submission of conference papers will elapse on 16th January, 2022.
You are therefore encouraged to submit papers for reviews and possible inclusion in the conference proceedings.
