Philosophy
The Department, in its programmes of training engineers, hopes to achieve the national goals and objectives of industrialization and self –reliance. As a result, it hopes to produce graduates with strong academic and practical background so that they can fit into industry immediately upon graduation.
Objectives
The Department of Industrial & Production Engineering is a dual-purposed department. The aim of the department is to train engineers that are self reliant which is also the national objectives. The programme of study is designed to produce reticently oriented design, manufacturing and production engineers who also have strong background in theoretical concepts.
